Alcohol Sales Banned in Bashkortostan on September 1
The restriction applies only to retail - supermarkets, liquor sections, and small shops.
Today, September 1, alcohol will not be sold in retail stores across Bashkortostan due to Knowledge Day.
It is worth noting that alcohol sales are also prohibited in the region on other public occasions, such as Last Bell ceremonies, Sabantuys, and Youth Day. Additionally, alcohol sale hours are reduced during the New Year holidays.
The restriction does not apply to alcohol sold in food service establishments.
Violations of this rule are punishable by fines from 20,000 to 40,000 rubles for officials, and from 100,000 to 300,000 rubles for legal entities, along with confiscation of the alcohol.
