High-speed trains "Finist" and "Lastochka" transported 5 million passengers in Bashkiria

Let us recall that the new electric train of the ES104 "Finist" series, in a 5-car version, began running in the republic last August. The Lastochka electric train commenced its first trip in April 2022.

As noted by the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, today 9 modern electric trains are already "flying" in Bashkortostan - 7 "Lastochkas" and 2 "Finists". The republic is one of the leaders in the country in renewing its rolling stock on the railway.

"Electric trains carry every second passenger in the republic. The new trains are very popular with our residents. This is a safe and relatively inexpensive form of transportation, and it is very convenient. There are many plans ahead - this is the renewal of passenger infrastructure, the development of our project "City Electric Train", the launch of new suburban routes to neighboring regions," the Head of Bashkortostan wrote on social media.
