Bashkiria allocated 1.6 billion to ensure public safety

According to Andrey Nazarov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkiria, the republic has achieved a 13% reduction in the number of fires, a 1% decrease in the number of water incidents, and a 4% decrease in the number of drownings. At the same time, the number of people rescued from fires and water incidents has increased to 127.

"We are gradually and consistently developing the fire and rescue infrastructure, acquiring modern equipment, and creating new units. In total, more than 1.6 billion rubles have been allocated for the industry this year. The result is that in the first half of the year, we managed to save the lives of 900 of our citizens," Andrey Nazarov emphasized.

The republic is also successfully implementing social support programs to provide autonomous fire alarms to specific categories of citizens. Over 19,000 fire alarms were issued free of charge in the first half of the year using funds from the republic's budget. Today, the percentage of the residential sector equipped with autonomous fire alarms has exceeded 72%. In the first half of this year, 18 people, including 4fourchildren, were saved in the republic thanks to these mini-sirens," commented Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, Irek Sagitov.

It is worth noting that in 2025, a new category was introduced in the pilot project: families in a socially vulnerable situation.

"In the first half of 2025, the number of video surveillance cameras in the municipalities of the republic increased by 486 units and brought the total to 5,229 cameras. Using video surveillance cameras, 28 crimes were promptly solved, and 50 crimes were identified. The detection rate of crimes is also increased thanks to the installed intelligent video surveillance cameras of the hardware and software complex "Safe City", which allows for the search for individuals in automatic mode," said Irek Sagitov.

For the safe and comfortable recreation of our residents on water bodies, 191 beaches have been opened in 59 municipalities since the beginning of the swimming season, which is 24 more than in the same period last year.

Following the meeting, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers instructed the implementation of the regional program for water body safety, as well as continued work to ensure the safety of the republic's residents.
