Marmots in Bashkiria are preparing for hibernation

The head of the district reported that the marmots have already begun to prepare for hibernation.

"Most of our marmots have already gone into hibernation. That means summer is already over. I accidentally saw one today. He was late in going to bed," Artur Zaripov said on his social networks.

Marmots begin to wake up after hibernation at the end of March.
