Head of Bashkortostan announced big plans to modernize Ufa airport

As a reminder, Ufa International Airport received the Air Gate of Russia award for 2024 as the best airport with a passenger flow of 2 to 6 million people.

"But I look at how our airport is developing through the eyes of a passenger. And what I see here makes me happy," Radiy Khabirov said on his Telegram channel, adding that work is currently underway to improve the conditions in the airport terminals.

To improve passenger comfort, the Neboart Hotel opened in July of this year, available to airline crews and guests.

"Now we have big plans to modernize the airfield infrastructure. New flights are appearing - this year alone, planes were launched to Gorno-Altaisk and China. Russia is celebrating Air Fleet Day. I sincerely congratulate the employees of our airport and airlines. And all those who are in love with the sky," added the Head of Bashkiria.
