Today, August 12, a children's delegation from Bashkortostan went to the friendly Republic of Belarus. The group consists of 20 of the most talented and active representatives of the young generation of the republic. Including members of the Children's Public Council, these are Nikolai Panchenko from the Alsheevsky district, Aliya Nabiullina from Neftekamsk, and Ilya Shilov from the Blagoveshchensky district.
The schoolchildren will spend 14 days in the children's camp "Zubrenok", subordinated to the Minsk Automobile Plant. The travel program includes visiting iconic places in Belarus. These are the memorial complexes "Khatyn", "Mound of Glory", "Stalin Line", the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, Mir and Nesvizh castles. And also a tour of the production site of the Minsk Automobile Plant, where you can see with your own eyes how the famous trucks are assembled.
According to a good tradition, before setting off, the children honored the memory of the heroes by laying flowers at the monument "To the fellow countrymen who went to the front" at the Ufa railway station.
Olga Panchikhina, the Commissioner for Children's Rights, also came to wish the young travelers a safe journey.
"We are confident that this trip will be an unforgettable experience for the children, full of new knowledge, vivid impressions, and valuable acquaintances. We wish our delegation a successful and fruitful visit to Belarus! Let this meeting strengthen the friendly ties between our peoples and open up new horizons for cooperation," she gave the children parting words.
