First, we are talking about access to electronic resources, updating outdated equipment, and eliminating digital inequality. Today, all educational institutions, which number almost 2,000, have installed video surveillance cameras and wireless Internet access points. At the same time, traffic for all schools in the region is provided at the expense of the federal budget, Andrey Nazarov said on his social networks.
According to him, over the past 5 years, 11 digital education centers for children, "IT-cube," have started working in the republic, and a digital educational environment has been introduced in 689 educational organizations. In addition, new equipment has been purchased to help students: laptops, laboratories, and microscopes.
"For this whole story to work smoothly, we are improving the state of local computing systems, including cable networks and centralized management. So far, 540 schools have received passports; this year, we will implement the project in 441 schools. We will see this through to the end. I have instructed the Ministry of Education of the Republic, together with municipalities, to determine the list of schools where the IT infrastructure will be created in 2026 and 2027. And to ensure that all work is carried out in a high-quality manner," said the head of the regional cabinet.
Andrey Nazarov also recalled the need to more actively attract federal support measures for the effective development of the innovative environment and the importance of strengthening partnerships with development institutions.
