One of the most important national development goals is the digital transformation of public administration. Bashkortostan is one of the leaders in this indicator: the republic is consistently in the Top 3 in the Volga region and the top ten in the country. The head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, is orienting the government of the republic towards actively promoting the development of the IT industry. Last year, the republic attracted more than 1 billion rubles from the federal budget and supported about 130 information technology companies. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov spoke about this on his Telegram channel, highlighting several areas of development.
- Expanding the coverage area of a stable Internet connection. In 2024, more than 14 thousand people in 24 sparsely populated areas, that is, where fewer than 200 people live, received broadband access to the network. It is planned to build the infrastructure in such places. Five new cellular base stations providing Internet access to 44 km of the Ufa-Inzer-Beloretsk road will appear on the section from Inzer to the village of Arkhangelskoye. The project to eliminate digital inequality is also ongoing. Shortly, about 60 small settlements with a population of up to 1,000 people will receive full-format Internet access.
- Information security. A comprehensive system for monitoring and countering cyberattacks has been deployed in the republic. It allows analyzing the IT infrastructure, which covers over 11 thousand users throughout the republic. Thanks to this, more than 250 hacking attempts were repelled.
- Digitalization of management. Bashkiria is one of the few regions that has created its own Data Processing Center and republican network. This center is certified to the highest security standards. We are also actively developing the digitalization of state and municipal services. To date, all mass socially significant services in the republic have been transferred to an electronic form. And the number of Bashkiria residents using them has grown by almost a quarter. 75% of the republic's residents aged 14 and older have active accounts on the State Services portal.
