Bashkiria approves medical rehabilitation program
Bashkiria has approved a regional program "Optimal medical rehabilitation for health restoration in the Republic of Bashkortostan".
The corresponding government decree of July 1, 2025 was published on the official portal of legal information.
The program was developed under "Long and Active Life" national project for 2025-2030. The program includes analytical data: the current state of the medical rehabilitation system in the Republic of Bashkiria, the dynamics of data on the incidence and prevalence of individual classes of diseases, the number of people in need of and who have undergone medical rehabilitation, the number of disabled people and other data.
According to the performance indicators of the rehabilitation service, a three-stage model of medical rehabilitation for patients with neurological diseases, cardiology, traumatology-orthopedics and other somatic diseases has been implemented in the republic since 2017. Since 2020, assistance for the rehabilitation of patients with somatic diseases has been expanded to provide medical rehabilitation to patients who have had COVID-19.
