Special equipment has cleared an additional 1.2 km of Anapa’s coastline from oil residue. In particular, the area from the Medical Beach in central Anapa to the "Holidays in Anapa" beach has been cleaned, according to the operational headquarters of Krasnodar Krai.
Currently, work is underway on the stretch from the "Blago" beach in the Dzhemete-2 area to the "Sunny" beach. Shortly, equipment will move on to clean the sand near the mouth of the Mozhepsin River.
The cleaning is carried out in several stages. First, the sand undergoes initial treatment, then it is sifted through a finer mesh. Special machines make 10 passes per strip, and the sand is leveled by tractors.
