Half of Monthly Rainfall Total Fell in One Evening in Ufa

During a powerful evening downpour in Ufa the day before, 24 mm of precipitation fell — half of the monthly norm, according to the city's Civil Defense Department. According to BashUGMS, the average rainfall for July is 51 mm.
Due to the thunderstorm front, the city’s Unified Dispatch Service received eight reports about the consequences of the rain. Roadways in the Leninsky, Dyomsky, and Kirovsky districts were flooded. By 8:30 p.m., all flooded areas had been cleared of water.
According to weather forecasts, rainfall intensity in Bashkortostan is expected to decrease in the coming days.
