The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Bashkortostan has unveiled the design of a new sports facility in Zaton-Vostochny. Recently, the State Expertise Authority approved the construction project for an athletics arena and an Olympic reserve school.
The project will be implemented on a plot of nearly 25 hectares, bounded by Sergei Mikhalev Street, Mikhail Zaitsev Street, and Druzhby Narodov Avenue.
The complex will accommodate up to 350 students. The arena will cover an area of 11,000 square meters, and the school will occupy 8,000 square meters. The project also includes a hotel with 190 beds, a dormitory for 160 people, and a cafeteria.
The design phase cost 88 million rubles.
Construction is planned for the years 2025–2028, funded by the Republican and federal budgets, as well as additional off-budget sources.
