The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, shared updates on the construction progress of the second phase of the Eurasian National Research University Interuniversity Student Campus on his social media.
The campus is a hub for advanced educational projects. Last year, as part of the first phase, a multifunctional IQ Park and a Genome Center were opened at the Ufa campus. The second phase will include seven towers ranging from 10 to 29 stories. These towers are planned to be named after great scientists: Pythagoras, Aristotle, Avicenna, Shen Kuo, Dmitri Mendeleev, Vladimir Vernadsky, and Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. The buildings will house dormitories, sports, and creative spaces for students. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027. Both phases of the campus will occupy an area of 142,700 square meters on the southern slope of Ufa. The total construction cost is 27 billion rubles.
As previously reported by Bashinform, the Bashkir interuniversity student campus will join the network of university campuses across Russia. Its creation and development are aligned with the goals of the national project “Youth and Children.”
