All Bashkir tourists have returned from United Arab Emirates

The situation with Bashkir tourists who were unable to leave the United Arab Emirates due to flight cancellations has been completely resolved. As of June 24, there are no natives of the republic "stuck" in a foreign country, said Minister of Tourism and Entrepreneurship Zukhra Gordiyenko.

"The situation with tourists who could not leave the United Arab Emirates has been completely resolved. All of them were taken out of the country. Currently, tourists are leaving the UAE following the schedule, upon completion of their tourist trips," the head of the department noted.

Earlier, FlyDubai and Air Arabia canceled flights to Ufa and back due to the situation in the Middle East. 144 tourists vacationing in the country were unable to return home on the planned dates. Federal tour operators (Fun&Sun, Coral Travel, Pegas Touristik) actively interacted with airlines to organize the evacuation of citizens as soon as possible. While the issues were being resolved, people were placed in hotels and provided with everything they needed, including food and accommodations. Airlines organized evacuation flights, mainly to Moscow and Yekaterinburg.

Meanwhile, Air Arabia has extended the cancellation of regular flights to and from Russia until June 30, inclusive, Rosaviatsia reported.
