Russian Post branches modernization were discussed in Bashkiria

On June 23, at a weekly operational meeting held by Radiy Khabirov, the Head of Bashkiria, the work of the regional branch of JSC Russian Post and issues related to the modernization of the postal network were discussed.

The Director of the Federal Postal Service of the Republic, Lenard Shafikov, reported that there are 1,240 branches in the region, 80 percent of which are located in rural areas, and 461 branches are in settlements with a population of less than 500 people. More than 6 thousand employees work in the Bashkortostan branch of the organization.

Since 2022, 76 rural branches have been modernized in the republic under the federal program. They have carried out major repairs, equipped the premises with modern equipment, and introduced new services, including account confirmation on the State Services portal.

The head of the Bashkortostan Federal Postal Service emphasized that the program is designed until 2030. However, further participation is possible with the provision of tax benefits from the region. The head of the republic instructed the government of Bashkortostan to work on this issue.

Also at the operational meeting, Radiy Khabirov congratulated the employees of the Federal Postal Service Administration on the 30th anniversary of the organization's establishment and presented state awards for their significant contributions to the postal service's work. In particular, the honorary diploma of Bashkortostan was awarded to Zilya Romanova, a postman from the village of Rodina in the Gafuriysky district, who this year became the winner of the All-Russian competition "Zemsky Postman".
