In Bashkiria, farmers will have to harvest 2 million 676 thousand hectares of crops during the harvesting season, including 1 million 416 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops and more than 680 thousand hectares of industrial crops. The tentative start of harvesting in the republic is scheduled for mid-July. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkiria - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. He spoke in Orenburg at a meeting on harvesting in the southern regions of the Volga Federal District.
Ilshat Fazrakhmanov also spoke about the readiness of storage facilities to receive grain and about providing farmers with material and technical resources for timely harvesting. "Preparation of grain harvesters in the republic's farms is 90% complete today. Taking into account the renewal of the machinery fleet in the autumn-winter period, it is planned that this year there will be 80 more grain harvesters at harvesting than in 2024," said Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
In Bashkiria, over 2 million hectares of arable land have been sown, accounting for 97% of the spring crop sowing plan, which includes grain and leguminous crops planted on an area of more than 1.2 million hectares.
The leaders in terms of sown areas with grain and leguminous crops this year are the Baimaksky, Sterlitamaksky, Ilishevsky, Khaibullinsky, and Meleuzovsky districts, as reported earlier by Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
