The agreement to hold the sports competition was signed by the President of the Bashkortostan Boxing Federation, Prime Minister of the regional government Andrey Nazarov, and the Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation, Alexander Besputin.
Andrey Nazarov noted that Bashkortostan has a well-developed sports infrastructure, and plans are underway to build a Professional Boxing Center. The championship will help popularize boxing and sports in general, he noted.
"I am confident that Bashkortostan will once again prepare and hold the Russian championship at a high level, so we invite everyone to the championship in Ufa in November," the Prime Minister said.
The event will be held in the Ufa Wrestling Palace.
