Honorary guests highly appreciated Bashkortostan stand at SPIEF
At the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Bashkortostan stand proved to be one of the most popular. During the forum, it was visited by thousands of people, including honorary guests.
State Duma deputies Gennady Zyuganov, Irina Yarovaya and Alexander Babakov, President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin, Vice President of Sberbank Pyotr Koltypin, President of the Wrestling Federation Mikhail Mamiashvili, Director of the Institute of Creative Industries of the Don University and People's Artist Anita Tsoi got acquainted with the investment, industrial, scientific, educational, sports and tourism potential of the region.
The head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, spoke with the guests and shared with them the region's achievements.
The republic's stand is one of the brightest sites of the forum. Its area is 390 sq. m. Among the key projects are the Interuniversity Student Campus of the Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center in Ufa, the National Cyber-Physical Platform "Berloga," and the new Wrestling Palace, which was opened for the 450th anniversary of the capital.
Visitors could also purchase T-shirts from ZASPORT featuring quotes from famous people and attend presentations. A highlight was the performance of the AY YOLA group, which gathered hundreds of spectators.
