Swimming is now allowed on five more beaches in Ufa
Swimming is now allowed on five additional official beaches in Ufa: "Ak-Yar Zaton", "Vodnik" (on the Belaya River), "Bereg Solntsa", "Sipailovskoye Sochi", and "Peschany" (on the Ufa River). Previously, due to the high water level of the rivers, city residents were not allowed to enter the water.
Thus, there are now 10 equipped swimming areas in the city. As a reminder, since June 1, the following areas have been fully open: "Krasivaya Polyana" (Lake Krasivoe in the Demsky District), "Kashkadan", "Peschany" (Ufa River), "Gulf Stream", "Raysky Bereg" (Lake Teploe), and "Solnechny" (Belaya River).
The 11th beach, "Ak Yar Nizhegorodka," remains closed due to waterlogged soil. Since May 27, 68,000 people have visited the official recreation areas, with more than 14,000 vacationers swimming.
