Russia to create messenger integrated with government services
The Federation Council has approved the creation of a national messenger integrated with government services.
Using the digital platform, users will be able to confirm their identity when checking into hotels or verifying their age in stores, use an enhanced digital signature to sign contracts, and more.
The messenger, developed by domestic specialists, will be included in the register of Russian software. As the Federation Council commented, the service will become a “safe and competitive alternative to foreign analogues.”
