

The head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, signed a law banning the sale of non-alcoholic energy drinks. The document was published on the official portal of legal information of the republic.
The law was initiated and adopted by deputies of the State Assembly - Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan. It will take effect on September 1, 2025.
The law provides for a complete ban on the sale of non-alcoholic energy drinks, including energy drinks, in retail outlets located near schools, universities, educational and medical institutions, theaters, and physical education and sports institutions. It is aimed at protecting the morality, health, rights, and legitimate interests of the population of the republic, the document says.
