Religious holidays in 2026 will be declared days off in Bashkiria

In 2026, in Bashkiria, March 20 and May 27 are planned to be declared public holidays in connection with the celebration of Muslim religious holidays. The corresponding draft resolution of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan was published on the official portal of the Republic of Bashkortostan for public discussion.

According to the document, following Part 1 of Article 1 of the republican law "On holidays and memorable days in the Republic of Bashkortostan", it is planned to declare March 20 - Uraza-Bairam, and May 27 - Kurban-Bairam as non-working holidays in 2026.
