Ufa was inscribed in world history

The inscription "Ufa" appeared on the walls of cities around the world, near the Selarón staircase in Rio de Janeiro. The mayor of the capital of Bashkortostan, Ratmir Mavliyev, reported on his social networks that he had personally entered the name of the metropolis "into international history."

"We came to Brazil for the General Assembly of the Association of Cities and Municipalities of the BRICS+ countries, which includes our Ufa. Here we will exchange experiences, adopt the best world practices, and share our achievements. I am sure that the ideas and knowledge brought will become the basis for new interesting Ufa projects," Mavliyev commented.

As the mayor noted, the Selarón staircase is a symbol of Rio, which attracts tens of thousands of tourists.

"Today, tiles from all over the world continue to be brought here to decorate the stairs. Tiles from Ufa will also appear soon," the mayor of the capital wrote.
