Control over hazardous road sections strengthened in Republic of Bashkortostan

The State Traffic Inspectorate’s operation “Oncoming Lane” has started in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Until May 28, traffic officers will be stationed at the most accident-prone sections of regional roads.

According to the head of the department, Vladimir Sevastyanov, every fourth road user in the republic who dies in a traffic accident was involved in a crash related to driving into the oncoming lane.
