In Ufa, the construction of a new section of the Ufimskoye Ozherelye in the Zaton microdistrict was discussed. The head of the Leninsky District Administration, Oleg Kotov, went to the site.
He and his colleagues discussed the plan to implement a bicycle path network along Druzhby Narodov Avenue from Denis Bulyakov Street to Malygina Street, which will be about 5 kilometers long. Lighting and other infrastructure elements are also planned.
“We walked the route and determined the stages of the work. We discussed the necessary criteria for a bicycle path for the convenience of residents of Zaton and all of Ufa with the investor,” Oleg Kotov wrote on his social media.
Earlier, the head of the capital's administration, Ratmir Mavliev, spoke about plans to build a bicycle path on the Zaton section of the Ufimskoye Ozherelye. He noted that the decision was made in response to a request from residents of the microdistrict.
It is expected that the construction of the bicycle path will be completed on October 1, 2026. Plans include building a bike path leading to Dema.
