Construction of the main building of the Eurasian Museum of Nomadic Civilizations in the Chishminsky District will begin in July this year. Salavat Kulbakhtin, the head of the Bashkul'tnaslediye, announced this at an operational government meeting.
"The architects decided to give the building a down-to-earth silhouette to fit organically into the natural landscape. The total area of the premises will be 27 thousand square meters. Inside, there will be a museum exhibition with copies of the most interesting artifacts, public spaces, conference halls, laboratories, museum storage facilities, and an art gallery," said the head of the Department for the State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites.
It was also previously reported that plans for the current construction season include looping the 800-meter-long pedestrian path connecting the mausoleums of Tura Khan and Maly Keshen and starting construction of a summer amphitheater. More details are here.
The first facility, the Tura-Khan visitor center, opened in July 2024. Over the next 10 months, 90,000 people visited it, the Bashkul'tnaslediye reported.
