More than 50 Ufa’s streets are named after participants in the Great Patriotic War

In Bashkiria, many streets are named after participants in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). There are several hundred such streets in all populated areas of the republic.

In Ufa alone, more than 50 streets are named after Great Patriotic War participants. Dozens of such names are also found in other cities and districts of Bashkortostan (Sterlitamak, Salavat, Neftekamsk, Oktyabrsky, Beloretsk, etc.). Many streets are named after local heroes—natives of Bashkortostan.

It should be noted that the future street in the Demsky and Leninsky districts of Ufa may be named "80th Anniversary of Victory." Voting is organized on the Ufa administration's polling platform and will end on May 5. Registration on the municipality website is required to participate.
