

The Commission of the Council of Legislators on National Security and Anti-Corruption has put forward an initiative to develop a Digital Code of the Russian Federation. According to Konstantin Tolkachev, the Chairman of the Council and Speaker of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan, a systematized set of laws will regulate all aspects of the digital space, from data protection to combating cybercrime. At the same time, he noted that creating this code relates to national sovereignty in cyberspace, the ability to protect citizens and the economy in the digital age.
The project envisages the consolidation of all regulatory acts related to the IT sphere, including issues of cybersecurity, work with personal data, regulation of neural networks and artificial intelligence.
Earlier, Konstantin Tolkachev spoke about the method of combating cyber fraudsters' call centers.
