A meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Bashkir branch of the Russian Znanie Association was held in Ufa. Let us recall that in 2023, it was headed by Radiy Khabirov, the Head of the Republic.
“The activities of the Znanie Association with its rich traditions are of particular importance for our republic. This organization is one of our main ideological allies, uniting tens of thousands of Russian teachers, lecturers, authors, bloggers, science popularizers, and other educational figures. Znanie plays a key role in conveying to our citizens the exact meanings, the truth about historical and modern events, the formation of a worldview based on knowledge, patriotism, and respect for their history,” Radiy Khabirov noted.
Dmitry Travkin, head of the Znanie Association's Development Department, spoke at the meeting via video link. He noted the high support for educational activities from the republic.
The chairman of the regional branch of the Russian Znanie Association reported that in 2024, more than 770 lectures were held in Bashkiria for 30,000 listeners, including schoolchildren and students. The events were held in Ufa, Sterlitamak, Birsk, Tuymazy, Belebey, and Salavat. The lectures were aimed at career guidance, popularizing science, and patriotic education.
"Lecturers, many of whom work voluntarily, play a significant role in the activities of the branch. These are university professors, experts, bloggers, representatives of business, and culture. For 2025, the regional branch sets tasks for the further development of educational activities, the introduction of new formats of interaction with young people, the expansion of the lecture community, and the implementation of new projects," said Vadim Zakharov. The head of the republic invited the leadership of the Russian Znanie Association to participate in the events of the International Book Fair "Kitap-Bayram" and the All-Russian Festival "Let's Play!", which will take place in Ufa from late May to early June 2025. Radiy Khabirov noted that these forums will become essential platforms for expanding the organization's educational activities.
