Bashkortostan and China will expand cooperation in creating joint logistics complexes and trading houses. This became known after the meeting between the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, and the General Director of the Chinese-Russian Integrated Services Trade Platform, Ding Xiaoping.
"We are glad to see how dynamically the Republic is developing. We have large-scale programs in the areas of foreign trade, high technology, and culture. We are interested in cooperation with universities and medical institutions of Bashkortostan," Xiaoping said.
As Radiy Khabirov emphasized, China is an important foreign trade partner of the region. The basis of trade turnover is mechanical engineering products and goods from the chemical industry.
"We always work with Chinese entrepreneurs, form proposals for deep cooperation. Trade turnover with China is steadily growing, reflecting a broader trend. In Beijing, there is a representative office of the Republic at the Russian Trade Mission. Direct flights from Ufa to Sanya have been established. Bashkortostan is ready to become a reference point for Chinese partners to work in Russia,” said the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
