Ufa to have 25 city fountains

Ufa hosted the Melodies of Spring festival, timed to coincide with the traditional launch of city fountains and the 80th anniversary of Victory, according to the city administration.

All venues offered entertainment programs for residents, including national melodies and dances, literary and musical compositions, the Victory Waltz event, performances by artists, musicians, circus performers, and dancers. The Melodies of Spring festival is a laureate of the Russian Event Awards.

The key venues of the daytime program were the Kurai fountain on Salavat Yulaev Square, the fountain on Sovetskaya Square, the Seven Girls fountain in the Theater Square, the Boy with a Kurai fountain near the Iskra cinema, and the Clock fountain on Lenin Square.

There are 25 fountains in the city of Ufa. Six of them have light and music accompaniment: "Seven Girls", "Clocks", "Dancing Cranes", on Sovetskaya Square, in Kashkadan Park, and on Margarita Kupriyanova Alley. Only the fountains "Boy with Kurai" and those in the Yuzhny Park have light.
