Radiy Khabirov met with representatives of creative industries in Bashkiria

A new milestone in the development of the creative industries in our republic is being opened in Bashkiria. This work has already begun, the organizational structure and regulatory framework have been formed, and possible support measures are being developed. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, said this today at a meeting with representatives of the region's creative industries.

The head of the region noted that the government is interested in supporting the creative industry, which creates intellectual products, commercializes them, and contributes to the gross regional product.

"We have made a decision, and today I will sign a decree on the formation of the Council for the Development of Creative Industries. Tomorrow we will hold our first meeting, where, among other things, the proposals you have made will be presented in the form of instructions to the government and municipalities. We are creating a support body that will work with you daily. I want to introduce you to the future director of this structure, Maria Oreshnikova, whom you all know well," said Radiy Khabirov.

The head of the region said that work with representatives of the creative industries will be based on a similar structure that was formed over six years of work to attract investment. Radiy Khabirov noted that a decision had been made for him to personally conduct the "Hour of Creative Industries", where projects proposed by representatives of this sphere would be considered in detail.

According to the Head of the Region, there are an incredible number of talented people in the republic. Our creative teams are known in the country and beyond. The animation studio "Mukha" signed a cooperation agreement with "Soyuzmultfilm" and is currently working on creating the film "Petrushka". Our group, AY YOLA, broke into the hit parades of many countries with the song Homay. There are many such examples.

"At the same time, it is important to reach the level of competent commercialization, and this is not easy. Therefore, today I would like to hear from you what specific support measures you need from us," said Radiy Khabirov.
