The training of medical personnel is something that the Russian Ministry of Health pays close attention to, especially given the need for an adequate response in our country to a multi-level system to modern challenges and threats. This was stated by the Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko in his video greeting to the participants of the scientific and practical conference of the Volga Federal District on current issues of organizing the provision of medical care in the context of a special military operation, which is taking place in Ufa based on the inter-university student campus.
"As the experience of interaction between military and civilian healthcare has already shown, it is important to work together to ensure the continuity of medical care upon admission of the wounded from the stages of medical evacuation to civilian medical organizations. The formation of a reserve of medical specialists from among civilian medical personnel who have the knowledge and skills to provide, first of all, surgical care to the wounded in modern military conflicts - today, there is a great need for this. The choice of the Bashkir State Medical University is not accidental. The university has created all the conditions for both conducting lectures and honing practical skills in real-world operations. For university teachers, this is a unique opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in military field surgery and apply them in their future work when developing educational programs. This is especially important, since military field surgery modules have already been introduced into student training programs," said Mikhail Murashko.
