President of Russia expressed gratitude to Ufa Airport staff

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to the staff of Ufa International Airport for their achievements and high performance in their professional activities. The corresponding decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Ufa Airport maintains a leading position among regional airports in the country, both in terms of passenger traffic and in terms of equipment and infrastructure. The airport has two runways and a modernized airfield and can accommodate all types of aircraft. The company has 4 stars in the prestigious international air transport agency Skytrax.

The key performance indicator of the airport in 2023 was a record for the entire history of the enterprise. Ufa Airport served 4,794,786 passengers. High passenger traffic results were maintained in 2024. The route network has 65 destinations, including more than 40 to Russian cities, as part of the President of the Russian Federation's order to connect regional centers with direct flights.

In 2024, a canopy was put into operation on the station square, connecting the terminals of domestic and international airlines into a single architectural concept.

The primary and sole shareholder of the Ufa International Airport is the Republic of Bashkortostan. The development of the enterprise continues with the active support of the republic's leadership and the Head of the region, Radiy Khabirov, the press service of the capital's air hub noted.

Currently, more than 1,500 people work at the airport, who, in addition to their primary professional activities, are actively involved in supporting SMO participants. A volunteer center has been established based on the enterprise. Employees collect funds and sew camouflage nets, balaclavas, bed linen, and other items to form humanitarian supplies.
