Bashkiria sees decrease in COVID-19 cases
In Bashkortostan, 14 cases of coronavirus infection were detected over the past day. This was announced today during an operational government meeting at the Central Control Center by Airat Rakhmatullin, Minister of Health of the Republic.
To date, 62 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 are undergoing inpatient treatment, and 271 people are undergoing outpatient treatment.
The available bed capacity in the region's medical institutions is 43.6%.
According to operational data, last week, ambulances made 20,365 trips in the republic, and more than 93% of them reached patients within 20 minutes.
Airat Rakhmatullin also announced the start of the annual "Healthy Republic - Healthy Region" campaign. According to him, it will last until September 16 this year, covering all municipalities.
The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, asked the heads of district and city administrations to warn the population about the upcoming arrival of doctors. The head of the republic noted that the action is recognized as one of the best practices in the country.
