March 2025 was warmest in Europe

Meteovesti reports that March 2025 was the warmest in recorded history in Europe and the second warmest in the world. March also saw the lowest sea ice extent in the data set since 1979.
But the price for a warm March was a cold April: last weekend, winter returned to the Central region, and five days later, the Arctic front arrived in the Southern Urals.
