Children aged 14 to 18 years can work on weekends during summer holidays. The corresponding law, signed by Vladimir Putin, was published on the official legal information portal.
Previously, teenagers were only allowed to work on weekends in creative professions, for example, participating in theatrical productions or filming.
Children aged 14 to 18 can work on weekends and non-working holidays during summer holidays.
The employment service will send teenagers to work or as part of student teams included in the federal or regional register of youth and children's associations that receive state support.
In addition, the document provides for several conditions that must be met to attract teenagers to work. For example, children aged 15 and over must provide their written consent, and for teenagers aged 14 years, the permission of the child and one of the parents. If we are talking about orphans, consent from the guardianship and trusteeship authority is required in addition to the teenager's consent.
