Radiy Khabirov met with Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia

The Head of Bashkortostan met with Russia's Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Magomed Abdulkhalimov. They discussed the development of the social institutions system in the region and the implementation of joint projects.

Radiy Khabirov noted that Bashkortostan interacts with the country's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and implements some initiatives aimed at helping senior citizens, people with disabilities, and families with children.

"We are grateful for the support of the federal ministry. Our non-governmental sector is successfully developing. The republic has introduced a system of rehabilitation certificates. We want to propose a project to create a rehabilitation center based on the former Talkas sanatorium. I am sure that it will be in demand, including for veterans of the SVO," the head of the republic emphasized.

Magomed Abdulkhalimov confirmed the high level of cooperation between the republic and the federal ministry and expressed his readiness to support promising initiatives of the region.

"Bashkortostan is an active participant in the federal project "Older Generation" of the national project "Family." Several significant projects have already been implemented, including creating the social center "Imenlek." Today, I also got acquainted with a successful example of a public-private partnership - the "Parents' Home" project in the Kushnarenkovsky district. As for new initiatives, including creating a rehabilitation center for participants of the SMO based on the sanatorium "Talkas," we will consider them at the investment commission. If this project meets regulatory requirements, it will receive support," he noted.
