Bashkiria hit Top 3 regions in presidential grants applications
Bashkiria hit the top 3 regions of Russia in terms of the number of applications for the second competition of the Presidential Grants Fund 2025, the Public Chamber of the Republic of Bashkiria reported. It is known that a record 710 projects were submitted from non-profit organizations (NPOs) of the republic - this allowed the region to bypass St. Petersburg and the Belgorod region, second only to the Omsk region.
The winners will be announced in June, and funding for the supported projects will begin in July. Almost 10.9 thousand projects from more than 9.3 thousand NPOs in the country were submitted to the competition.
The main areas of the initiatives were protecting citizens' health, promoting a healthy lifestyle, preserving historical memory and social services, and providing social support and protection.
