

In 2024, Bashkiria's foreign trade turnover increased by 6.4%. At the same time, export growth amounted to 4.2%, and imports grew by 12.2%. At the same time, 71.1% of foreign trade turnover is exports. More than half of the volume (55.9%) is accounted for by non-raw material non-energy goods, the press service of the Government of the Republic of Bashkiria reports.
Bashkiria is developing foreign economic relations with 103 countries. The top ten include China, Turkey, India, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Brazil, and Libya. Last year, they accounted for about 75% of the republic's foreign trade turnover. Foreign trade turnover with the countries of the former USSR, SCO, and BRICS is growing. The network of representative offices of Bashkiria in foreign countries facilitates this. They operate in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, China, and the UAE.
