The genomic center in Bashkiria, located at the Interuniversity Student Campus in Ufa, is scheduled to open on April 4. The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, announced this at a government operational meeting.
"On March 8, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Airat Gatiyatov visited us on a working visit. We showed how we are preparing for the opening of the genomic center and the "School 21+" project. We also launched the construction of the main part of the Interuniversity Student Campus. Our goal is to complete the facility by the end of 2027," said Radiy Khabirov.
He added that the "School 21+" project at the genomic center in Bashkiria will start this summer. This joint project with Sber features a specialized program on digital technologies in genetics and a children's track. From an early age, children will study microcontrollers, synthesize programming skills, build electronic circuits, and learn to write scripts for interaction between devices.
