Bashkiria residents received payments of 527 million rubles

Since the beginning of 2025, 3,400 residents of Bashkiria have received maternity benefits from the regional Social Fund, which allocated more than 527 million rubles for this purpose.

Let us remind you that leave is granted based on an electronic sick leave certificate opened in the 30th week of pregnancy. The duration of maternity leave is 140 days. In complicated childbirth, it increases to 156 days; in case of multiple pregnancies, it increases to 194 days.

The benefit from the Social Fund is credited to women's accounts within five days after confirmation of the necessary information by the employer. An application for the appointment of benefits from the expectant mother is not required. An application for maternity leave is written only to your employer. The amount is paid one-time for the entire period of leave. The benefit is calculated based on the woman's average earnings for the two calendar years preceding the year of maternity leave, and is 100% of the average earnings. If a woman was on maternity or parental leave for a child under 3 years of age in the two calculation years, then, at her request, they can be replaced by the previous years if this increases the benefit amount.
