In Bashkiria, 1.4 million people were transported by rail in February
The Kuibyshev Railway's press service reported that in February 2025, the passenger transportation volume in Bashkiria amounted to about 1.4 million people. This is 2.2% less than in February 2024; however, there was one more day in this month (2024 was a leap year).
In total, about 3 million passengers were sent in January-February 2025 (+ 1.2%), of which 731.3 thousand passengers (-5.94%) were on long-distance trains, and 2.2 million (+ 3.8%) on suburban trains.
