Government will expand overhaul program for children's camps

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the corresponding resolution, announcing that the government will expand an overhaul program for summer children's health camps.

Now, at the expense of federal funds provided on a co-financing basis, it is possible to carry out capital repairs in the premises where clubs and sections are held and in sports halls. Previously, the provided subsidy could only be used to modernize canteens and medical centers.

As noted in the government statement, the decision will create conditions for more effective implementation of additional summer education programs for children and generally improve the quality of organized children's recreation.

Mikhail Mishustin clarified that work in this area is being carried out within the framework of a specialized federal project.

"It is essential that the time that the children spend in the children's camp is interesting and rich for them and that they have positive impressions of the trip," Mikhail Mishustin emphasized.
