Bashkiria allocates 3.4 billion rubles for kindergartens, schools, and colleges modernization

Modernization of kindergartens is beginning in Bashkiria. Andrey Nazarov, the Prime Minister of the republic's government, announced this.

Andrey Nazarov wrote on his social media that the renovation of preschool institutions will begin with facilities in Askarovo and Sibay.

Also, according to Andrey Nazarov, seven college buildings will be repaired with more than 708 million rubles from the federal budget.

“This is an excellent continuation of the federal program for the modernization of the education system. Its viability and scale were demonstrated by the work on the major repairs of schools, which has been ongoing since 2022. In three years, we have repaired and equipped 146 school buildings. Last year, we took 1st place in the Volga Federal District regarding the volume of federal funds attracted (3rd place in the Russian Federation) and in the number of school buildings in which repairs were carried out (2nd place in the Russian Federation). By September 1 of this year, we plan to modernize another 35 schools,” - writes Andrey Nazarov.

He noted that the upcoming work is not just an overhaul in replacing a roof or painting walls. After modernization, old buildings will become modern and well-equipped institutions.

The Prime Minister instructed the heads of districts and cities participating in the federal school modernization program to complete tender procedures and sign contracts for 10 school buildings by March 30. The buildings must be renovated in 2025.

“I ask you to treat this with full responsibility. We must always remember that all this is being done for our children's future, and therefore, the entire region's future,” Andrey Nazarov emphasized.

The head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Bashkortostan, Ildar Mavletberdin, reported that 35 schools are planned to be overhauled in Bashkortostan under the federal program for modernizing education systems for 2025. The program includes 25 educational institutions of a two-year cycle and 10 “one-year” buildings. 1.8 billion rubles were allocated for the renovation, including more than 263.5 million rubles from the regional budget.
