

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the Supreme Mufti, Chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia Talgat Tadzhuddin.
During the meeting, the President expressed gratitude to Talgat Tadzhuddin and all representatives of Islam for their contribution to interfaith unity and harmony among the peoples of Russia. Vladimir Putin emphasized that people who profess Islam are an organic, natural part of Russian society. He said that representatives of Islam have always made and are making a significant contribution to our unity and standard strength, allowing Russia to move forward despite all the difficulties.
The country's President noted that Russian Muslims are showing their best qualities today, particularly heroically in the SMO. In turn, the Supreme Mufti said that imams provide spiritual support to soldiers during special military operations, and Muslim communities collect and send aid to service members. Such assistance is sent from Bashkiria every month.
