Bashkiria to Determine Best Municipality
Applications for the “Best Municipality of the Republic of Bashkortostan” competition will be accepted on February 25 and until March 25 inclusive. Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan Mikhail Izotov announced this during a training seminar on submitting competition applications.
Cities, districts, and urban and rural settlements can compete. Several nominations are provided, including those for municipal economic policy, financial management, and best municipal employees, and resident competition is held to stimulate business activity and identify the best municipal practices in management and solving local issues. Applications from the Republican competition winners are sent to the federal competition commissions.
