Vladimir Putin congratulated Radiy Khabirov on Fatherland Defender Day

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, on Fatherland Defender Day. The official text was published on the website of the head of the republic.

"This holiday is always solemnly celebrated in our country as a symbol of the people's boundless respect for our ancestors' victories and military exploits. The unbreakable connection between historical traditions of devoted service to the Fatherland and sincere love for the Fatherland today inspires the soldiers of Russia who courageously fight for truth and justice, for the freedom and independence of the Motherland," the address says.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also sent congratulations.

"I congratulate you on Defender of the Fatherland Day. Today, we remember the great victories of our Armed Forces and the military exploits of valiant soldiers who defended the freedom and independence of the Fatherland. And with special gratitude on this day, we honor all who are selflessly devoted to their Motherland, stand guard over its security and territorial integrity, and strengthen the sovereignty and power of Russia, ensuring the future for new generations. I wish you and your loved ones success, health, and well-being," wrote the country's Prime Minister.

Congratulations were also received from Igor Komarov, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District.

And now, we celebrate it at a special time - 2025 has been declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory. Patriots live and work in the Volga Federal District – people who, with their hard work, service, talent, and devotion, increase the power and wealth of Russia and strengthen its defense and security. Special words of gratitude, of course, to the fighters – those who serve in the special military operation zone and, risking their lives, defend the national interests of our great country.
