In 2024, the Republican Cardiology Center performed 17,700 operations and examinations, treated 19,700 patients, and consulted 92,900 people in the clinic. Over the year, RCC specialists traveled to cities and districts 74 times and assisted 4,900 patients. The head physician of the RCC, Irina Nikolaeva, reported this to the medical council.
The medical center's head said the plans for 2025 include opening a new surgical building, continuing the implementation of the "Modular Program 2.0," further developing cardio-oncology, and opening a cardio-gerontology department with 10 beds.
"Participants of the SMO and their family members, as well as residents of the LPR, receive special attention and medical care. In 2024, we consulted about 4 thousand such patients. We support them not only in treatment but also in sending humanitarian aid to the special operation zone. Last year, the employees of the cardiology center and members of the primary trade union organization of the RCC collected about 500 thousand rubles and sent 41 parcels to the SMO zone,” said Irina Nikolaeva.
