Emergencies Ministry warns of snowstorms and snowdrifts
On February 17, in some areas of Bashkiria, there will be a snowstorm with wind speeds up to 15-20 m/s. There will be snowdrifts, packed snow, and ice on the roads, and visibility will be reduced to 500-1000 m, Bashhydromet reports.
The weather is forecast to be cloudy, with clear spells during the day. At night, there will be light snow, moderate in places.
In some areas, there will be a snowstorm, snowdrifts on the roads, and packed snow. The southwest wind is 7-12 m/s, with 15-20 m/s gusts in places.
The air temperature at night is -11, -16 °, and during the day, it is -8, -13 °. Visibility will be reduced on the 500-1000 m roads.
